This “Thank You letter” was sent to me today by Larry Cleveland a very close friend of Fred Hammann, whose Funeral escort and Funeral Service we attended yesterday. We touch hearts without even knowing we do. His letter says it all. And I want to say thank you as well to all who were able to attend this mission. A Special thanks to Mark Evans and Pete Toner for helping me as Road Guards. 300 Motorcycles, 100 Cars and a 45 mile escort.
Larry’s Letter is below.
I would like to thank you, the Patriot Guard Riders, and Rolling Thunder for your great support and showing yesterday. It meant so much to me, being that Fred and I have spent a lot of miles together, and shared so many good times together with our wives. I had the distinct honor of having Fred’s wife ride with me to the service. It is an experience I will never forget. To have as many bikes show up from your groups on such a short notice as you did speaks volumes of your dedication. What you do for our fallen heroes is nothing short of incredible. I only wish you were around when my father passed. He was a WWII veteran, and a Harley rider ever since getting out of the Army. He would have been so impressed. Again, thank you from the bottom of my heart. God bless, ride safe, and please, thank all your veterans for their service to this great country.
Best Regards,
Larry Cleveland
