We have been invited to escort Mr. Ryan Pitts, US Army, Staff Sergeant & Medal of Honor recipient on Friday, November 27, 2015 from the American Legion on Rte. 125 in Epping to the Pease Commercial Terminal building. Mr. Pitts is one of but a handful of living Medal of Honor recipients from the war in Afghanistan. He is traveling to Pease to join in a troop welcome home with the Pease Greeters.

From the Irving we’ll proceed on Rt 27 to the main staging location at the American Legion in Epping, if you’ve got 3X5’s be sure to bring them!

We will have approximately 30 minutes to spend with Mr. Pitts (photos if desired), our departure time to Pease should be 12:30 pm. If you have 3×5 flags for your bikes please bring them as we will be riding Rte. 27 & Rte. 33 (there will be a short stretch on Rte. 101 where we’ll keep the speed reasonable). Weather forecast is calling for partly cloudy skies with temps in the upper 50’s.
Upon our arrival at Pease we’ll dismount and join Mr Pitts and the Pease Greeters in welcoming home a returning flight of service members, cagers and those riding in the escort are encouraged to join in the troop welcome home.
