WWII, US Army, Honor Flight Mission

The NH PGR has been invited to present a flagline at the VA in Manchester, 718 Smyth Rd, on Tuesday, 15 September 2015 at 1 pm for this US Army WWII Hero, Mr. Richard Jowders, whose health is too frail to participate in the upcoming Honor Flight.

Honor Flight New England, will be celebrating this WWII Hero Richard Jowders, as he is not physically able to handle the very long day in DC. The family will meet him in his room (about 10 minutes before 1pm), take the CLC elevator to the basement, travel to the main elevator and bring him up to the lobby. The Patriot Guard Riders, employees and other volunteers will be lining the halldway from the elevator to the T&E room holding flags. This hero will be slowly pushed through this line, shaking hands. Let’s let him take his time through the line. Joe Byron will narrate this event, show the WWII Memorial movie, honor him, thank him and show him our love.

Thank you, everyone who showed up to honor this WWII veteran. Sorry for all of the confusion. (My contact seems to have taken the day off right when I needed him the most.) Anyway as usual you all did your part and then some.
