Ladies and Gents
To all of you that took part in the Escort and stood the Flag line today for SFC Marvin Burnette USA RET Vietnam Veteran and also a Native American ICON my great full thanks for another mission well done. From the staging at the Funeral home, to the escort from the the funeral home to the NHSVC and to the flag line your participation was again second to none. With the heat index well into the 100 degree mark and the relentless sun and humidity all of you stand above all others,
Your cooperation with all aspects of this mission made it again a text book escort and flag line.. The 3 State Troopers told me that they were impressed with our professionalism displayed before during and after the escort. With well over 60 Bikes and 2 cages we were able to do what we do best for our fallen and their families. Mr Burnett’s son and his family were over whelmed by our presence and he said he never dreamed that his Dad would be so honored by so many people..
Remember that we go to many missions but the families we serve only go to one!! Again I am proud to serve as a Ride Captain for the NHPGR but one person does not make this happen it takes all of us to insure all aspects go smooth . I have to give a special thank to a few people who played a key role in today’s mission.
Shannon-Our Flag Line Captain She insured we had our flags available and getting the flagline in place and she made sure we had water . Thanks Shannon Well done!!!
Tom and Nick- Our designated road guards , you two insured the safety and the integrity of the ride where the State Police Could Not.. Great job guys thank you,
And lastly a big thank you to our NH State Police who were able to provide us 3 Cruisers from Manchester all the way to the NHSVC. When I said thank you to each one of them, their response was to me. No, thank you sir for what you guys do, they said it was an honor to be part of the mission today.
So with all the above said, a big thank you to all from me, as you well know leading a group of any size is a daunting task, you all made todays mission less daunting and you dont know how each of you made me feel. Proud once again to be part of the NHPGR
Till we meet again, Ride safe my friends

Thank you for all the compliments. The ceremony was the most beautiful one I’ve ever been to. Thank you for allowing me to be part of this wonderful rite.
